I have been reading about the FK425 product in past posts and was wondering if a lot of you guys still feel the same about it as being the best, or has anything come along to beat it?

For me, over a sealant -- no. Over a carnuba, I stick with SpeedShine, the look of 425 over a carnuba just seems a bit `off` to me.

Forgot to add, please say where you can get the product. Example, I think you can only get Fk425 from "FK", not positive though.

I just tried Meg`s new Ultimate QD - it wipes 425 away in water repellancy, slickness is excellent, and its 9.45 with a 5.00 rebate... I`m not sure how well it cleans though, as I rarely use a QD for cleaning, but I can attest to it being a great after-wash booster.

You can get FK425 from Pakshak. I`ve been holding off until I get some Meg`s UQD to try out. That stuff looks amazing. Like a rainx product for your paint.

I`ve tried PB, CG, Zaino, and Meg`s QD`s, and I still think 425 is by far the best. I`ve not used the NEW Meg`s QD though. So other that maybe the Meg`s UQD, 425 is great...especially for the price.

Im about to be finished with my 3rd gallon of FK425, I will see if the local places carry the new meg`s UQD to give it a shot. I primarily use my QD`s after a wash, or during a detail session to wipe away polishing dust or residue.

I applied some Megs Ultimate QD last week, and I have to say I`m really impressed. I washed my car this evening and the water beads like crazy, and it just runs right off the paint. Very slick, and a nice shine. As the previous poster mention, I can`t comment on the cleaning ability as I haven`t used it for that yet. Good stuff in my opinion.

I would have to give FK425 my vote.
