Description

DP Max Wax is made of pure No.1 grade yellow carnauba from Brazil and engineered polymers to create a wet, glossy shine that lasts longer than carnauba alone. The wax is a soft, pliable paste that goes on like butter and wipes off just as effortlessly. The shine created is nothing short of beautiful. Any color paint will appear deeper and richer with every coat of Max Wax. The addition of polymers allows the wax to bond to the paint for longer lasting protection. Carnauba wax provides UV protection, as well as resistance to acid rain and contamination. Your vehicle will be protected for up to 2 months in ideal climates.

Color/Scent

It is creme in color. It looks the color that nattys does. It smells very pleasent like TS.

How i used it

I applied this wax to a freshly washed car. A few weeks ago this car received PwC, BSG, UPP. I applied the wax to a few panels and then buffed off. I followed up this wax with the DP final gloss booster. I removed all wax and used the DP FGB with cobra MF towels.

Thoughts

I really liked the look the Max Wax gives off. It seems to be very reflective and warm. I noticed that the Max Wax seemed to lessen the presence of swirls in the paint. It was a breeze to apply and was just as easily removed. At first i wasnt impressed with the slickness but after i washed my hands and dried them to remove sweat i noticed it was reasonably slick.

I couldnt wait to check it out either, so i FP2 my hood(black), and applied max wax.

All of the new DP products that i have used so far are really quite exceptional, this may be the leader of the pack :)

P.S. i dont think it stains trim either, it wiped right off, but i will see in the morning if it stained.

Nice review. Thanks for sharing.

Pink Wax, Natty`s Blue, now this... You have to love it!! Isn`t DC just great!

I have a few DP samples that I plan to try out on a detail over the weekend. I hope it turns out as nice as your Chevy!

Ive done max wax x3 on my hood over three days now. My hood/roof/top of fenders are black, rest is a smoke metallic color. The MW looks pretty decent on the gray, i prefer it to be a little more reflective, BUT on the black....OMG!

Im going to let the three coats sit for a week or so, then do another couple. This is my first real wax, what they say is true about top shelf waxes, freakin awesome.

i know i know, pics dude....i havnt unpacked the camera....sorry...
