More pictures will be posted tomorrow when I get to the outside but this is what I did this afternoon. I bought this truck back in 2005 and had used it for my construction work until this past December when I started makeing it a show truck/daily driver. I don`t believe the engine compartment had ever been cleaned. Here are some before and after shots. The outside shots will be on tomorrow.

Here are a few that I had a chance to take. I`ll have some better ones tomorrow or either when I get back Monday. I started at about 7 this morning and worked on it until about 7:30 this evening and I`m still not thrgough. I`ve gotta put a coat of wax on it tomorrow, dress the tires/mouldings, polish wheels, and do a little more on the insdie. I used 05933 to buff and started with 05937 but couldn`t get it to finish down like I wanted so I switched to Menzerna FPII. The 05937 works really well when it is cool outside but when it got arond 96 today it was a PITA to work with. It has a coat of Blackfire sealant on it right now and will put the first coat of wax on tomorrow.

Wow that black is amazing...especially on a truck that was used for construction! Great job!!! What was your process on the motor?

I should clarify that the truck use to be white with a tan stripe at the bottom. I repainted it about 2 months ago. The process on the motor was first an engine degreaser that I bought from Advance Auto Parts. It actually worked pretty well but I ran out before I got the whole engine done so I went to the local Autozone because it is 7 miles away compared to 24 to Advance. I bought some Gunk brand degreaser and it didn`t work worht a crap. I ended up getting out some mean green and scrub brushes. It still needs more work but I`m a little short on time. I dried it with my shop vac (it turns into a blower) and put some dressing on all the hoses and plastic. I`m still looking for something good to put on the rubber hoses.

The new paint looks nice! And so does the detail you did on it. As far as waxing it goes. Are you sure the paint has had time to gas out? I`m sure you have this covered but just thought I would bring it up just in case.

Great looking truck! I am not seeing much OP in the paint at all. Very nice paint work as well.

First thing that came to my mind, looks pretty OP-free.

Looks great man, and I like what you did with it as far as modding goes too. Nice and clean look.

Well..I took a few of the truck this past weekend. Here are some shots. I cleaned the truck up really good Thursday, drove 200 miles to Biloxi, did a QD with ONR Saturday morning and took these pictures. I REALLY like the ONR as a QD. I haven`t used it as a wash yet but I`m sure it will work really great!
