This weekend user "JuneBug" and I got together and went to the local detail supply store, Majestic Solutions and then to detail some cars. We bought a bunch of stuff to try out at the store, and I was dying to try out my new $30 foam gun.

First up is some pictures of the foam gun in action using DG CWC as soap.

Look at all that FOAM.

The tire dressing is Majestic Solutions Poly Protectant. I will give you the # to call and order it later. They only take orders over the phone and credit card.

Thanks guys.

Great job! Looks like someone really likes Toyotas.

So that is the infamous $30 horse cleaning foam gun. Looks just like the foam out of the Gilmour guns. Must do a job on horses too!

The 06 Rav4 Sport looks real nice; really like that anthracite colour

And cuz my family owns one, that`s an 04 Sienna. Regardless, the paint looks real nice

Oh, I was just guessing on the age of the cars, whatever!

Yeah, that`s the imfamous $30 foam gun, and with DP`s Extreme Foam soap, it should cover the car in the white stuff.

Thanks Brandon! and that`s a 2005 Sienna, - new ones have the 3.5 v-6 like my Rav, but, we`re happy with it. I got to brag on OS and that tire shine from Majestic Solutions, I don`t think you get get easier products to work with. I`ll probably get the foam gun some day, right now I`m saving my pennies for a carpet machine.

All the vehicles look fantastic. I have questions about the foam gun, though...I just don`t see the point.

1. Don`t you still need to rinse the mitt frequently? If so, why not just have soap in the bucket?

2. In hot weather, does using a foam gun cause a lot of spotting?

3. How much product do you use compared to a normal wash?

It seems like the process is pretty much the same, and would even seem to take MORE time with a foam gun because you`re spending the time to spray foam all over the car before actually washing it with a good mitt. Maybe I`m missing something here...

Brandon, did I see your truck out at Falls Lake today? Right off of Creedmoor? If not, there was a super shiny Tundra just like yours sittin out there.

Nice details.
