View Full Version : Using Optimum Polish for the first time-Tips?

I`ll be using OP over the weekend with a PC and propel green pad. Car is a Mazda 3 in black mica, and I am wondering if you have any tips? Nothing too major on the car, just dealer prep, slight swirls, etc. Any help is appreciated!

less is more with op. do not overuse product or you will be frustrated.

I heard an X on the pad for the first panel and then a dime size or so for subsequent panels. About right?

i put four pea size drops around the pad, and seems to work well for me...

Sure...I am going to use the OP, Poli-Seal, and probably OCW to finish it off. I have used the last two before. I think it will look killer on my black car.

if you have some, make sure to keep OC around if possible as you may need it...

Yes, OC is da-bomb. I could not have done nearly as good of job without it. An absolute must.
