clay lube for sonus ultrafine?

can i just use a mix of car soap and water as a lube for the ultrafine?

I`ve done it with Griot`s car wash and water out of my foamgun, and it worked fine. No issues with the Sonus green clay.

I too have used the Griot`s Car Wash with it, worked OK but not as well as the Glyde lube. I use the Griot`s for wheels, but I use Glyde for the the body of the car.
