I know there are some paint chips in there but my main concern are the white spots that look like road salt. Also, what`s the best way to treat chips, i`m assuming a repaint is necessary?

Yea, I definitely see rock chips, but I`m not sure about the rest, the little specks. You could try claying it, but it`s most likely rock chips.

Its a combination of rock chips and being sand blasted

Yah I would repaint it. That`s just too many rockchips to do a touch-up paint.

Yep, its repaint time, and from the looks of it, clear bra time as well.
