So I`ve already ordered my detailing products (Zaino mostly) as discussed in another post. Now, I need a little help picking the products to apply with. This is just for my car only - sedan. Full gamut of Zaino ~3 times per year, wash every 1-2 weeks, QD as often as needed. All by hand. Trust me, I`ve spent hours searching and reading. I just want to order the right amount of the right products. Thanks. :)

1)Wash mitt - there appears to be alot of personal preference on this one. Also, some people seem to be using 2 per wash - one for lower, heavier areas including tires/wheels.

2)Drying towels - will 2 be enough for me?

3)Applicator - it appears I have a few options here. MF versus sponge/foam - foam sound like it would waste less product, but does it have higher incident of leaving unwanted marks? Oh, and how many of these should I purchase?

4)Buffing towel verus polishing towel - not sure what the difference is. If I apply my Z2, Z5, etc with #2 above, let it haze, I`m assuming I use one of these to remove it. What`s the difference? And again, how many should I order?

5)QD (Z6/Z8) - what`s the best thing to apply this with? And again, how many should I have around?

6)Z-CS - I`m assuming I can use another applicator as decided in #3?

7)Wheels - Just a decent MF?

8)Other - glass/leather/interior - just a decent MF? Good # to have?

--------

Ballpark estimate:

1-2 wash mitts

2 drying towels

6+ applicators - Z2, Z5, Z6/8, ZCS

6+ buffing towels

4 general purpose MF detailing towels - leather, interior, wheels

--------

Thanks again.

Update: I finally found that you can search a thread`s title only with advanced search. This made finding answers much easier. I can gladly say that I have finished placing my order - ended up doing it all from here. Thanks a million for the discount!
