Anyone have any experience with Hyundai Paint? hard or soft clearcoats? i`ll be doing a slate gray this weekend... just wondering if anyone had any tips/suggestions.
Thanks,
Vic

Based on my own car, I would have to say it`s pretty soft. So soft, that after only polishing once with the PC, I`m starting to see clearcoat failure. My paint had been neglected for more than 5 years though and during that time I never really took proper care of it.
My car was also the first car I practiced the PC on, so in hindsight I wish I had started off with a light polish.

Unfortunately I used #83 with a Meg`s burgundy pad. It also didn`t help that this was done outdoors in the summer heat.
If I knew back then what I know now, I probably would have started off with #80 on a Meg`s yellow pad.
It was bad mistake for a first timer. Luckily, it was my own car.

I`ve had 4 Hyundais and they can be different color to color. Silver has been kind of hard, medium blue was very soft and my newest has not needed polished yet.
