I am looking to put together my own beginners kit for a 2005 Black SRT-4....including:

Sonus SFX-2

Klasse AIO

P21S

PC 7424

Not sure what pads I need

Sonus Der Wunder Drying Towel

Various other MF towels for buffing/etc. Suggestions??

Maybe some Sonus detail spray

A grit guard for my own 5 gallon bucket

A new wash mitt. Suggestions??

Do I need SFX-1 to remove minor swirls, or is that for more serious paint defects??? Also,..when is SFX-3 needed? The car has already been clayed and Zaino`ed,..but I`d like something to remove the swirls now,..not just hide them.

Any help is appreciated!!!

Actually, I have found that SFX 1 is rather mild with little cutting ability compared to others even when used with an aggressive pad. Chances are good that this polish won`t be enough to remove the swirls you have now completely, unless they are very very light.

For regular application, I like to use the Lake Country White pads. I do 75% of my work with them. You will love the KAIO topped with P21S look. It is oustanding. There is nothing wrong with trying the SFX 1 and if it does not work, order something a little stronger.

Is the "perfect shine" kit decent,...or should I put a kit together myself?

Anyone else have experience with SFX-1 & 2? Or experience with the perfect shine kit??

The SFX polishes are very nice, especially to work with. Best used with the SFX pads.
