This car was in an accident as well, and was repainted. (right front door and the right fender)
The color match was good but the OP was overdone.:furious: :furious: :wall
So I tried matching the existing amount that is on the car. It came out real good. I;ll see the car next weekend and hopefully we will have a dry day to take AFTER pictures.
I did this detail over 2 days and ended with so so after pictures. Sorry.

I am the owner of the Passat. Thomas, I just want to say it was good that I finally got to meet you. Picture #6 clearly shows the difference in paint color and that will greatly help my court case.
The X5 looks amazing!

One of my favorite cars!!!!! The owner is Harry Houdini (he also owns the X5)
Again I finished way too late - around 10:30pm and all I coud do is produce dark pictures.:chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: Me and pictures.........
The owner of this car should have a sticky on Autopia on how to maintain a black car.
The M6 was washed and clayed for me :) so I immedietly started removing random imperfections that wasn`t induced by the owner.
I was going for maximum wetness while the owner wanted long lasting protection. So!
Process:
ec rotary 1500rpm in some places
106 rotary green pad 1500rpm
106 pc 6 green pad
At this point Harry Houdini "washed" all the dust off the car and dried it for me so I could make it look as good as any M6 out there. :D

It appears that Mr Houdini is in very good hands.
God the OP on the X5 door is horrible, good luck to the owner in court.

Great work, nothing unexpected from a guy professional as you :spot
That X5 I was looking to get repainted both those areas before, but no need
anymore since it is fixed and will be traded in for the 2008 X5.
Also thank you for your advices. I am amazed by how much knowledge you have on
almost every product out there, a true professional.
Note: I will be adding Pink Wax and my favorite go to wax Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Spray.
while I really believe that this M6 looks better than any M6`s out there unless they are painted chrome :D

I have used almost every car soap out there, but ended up with gold class because you
can find the thing in gas stations lol. and it cleans short of stripping the wax than any
soap I used so far including zaino.
