How to clean brake dust from equipment?

I have the spoke brush & wheel brush from Meguiars and was wondering how do you guys clean the brushes after finishing? I see that I transfer break dust when cleaning my rooms. Also how do you get rid of break dust from your hands, i`ve been scrubbing away like heck lol. THanks

I use P21S on my wheel brush and then run the hose over it...It cleans them off in no time...Others soak them in dawn.
