I`m planning to finally do my own car this weekend (2 months into detailing other people`s cars, I finally have a weekend to myself!!!) and I just got my PC 7424 last week. I`m planning on using a claybar and applying a pre-wax cleaner (Mother`s) and wanted to know if I could use my PC for this?

Should I apply the pre-wax cleaner by hand or PC?

I`ve tradtionally just put it on by hand but I love the PC so much now (in just one weekend of use), I thought maybe I could use it for this step as well.

TIA,

Dale

Excellent!!! Anything to practice with my new PC!

I guess I should use a white pad then or what should I be using for this? The paint on my 1999 New Beetle is very good still.

TIA,

Dale

I would use a white pad most likely.

Agree with the white pad.
