Zymol Products

Has anyone used any Zymol products? what product and how did you like it? anyone used their Vintage or Royale Glazes? i`d be interested to know why these two, priced at US $1,852.00 and US $7,118.00, respectively are so expensive. does the wax jump out the friggin tub and magically detail your car for you?

There`s a lot of posts about Vintage. Do a search, and you`ll have hours worth of reading.

If you think about it, you will spend a lot of money in your life in car wax if you wax your car once a month for 20 years.

Let`s put things in relative terms. If you have a $100-150k car, you can probably afford at $1700 jar of wax. If you have a $20k car, I don`t think you`d want to spend $7k on a wax that`s 1/3 the price of your car.

Do some searches and you`ll find less expensive alternatives with pretty similar results. Souveran and Pete`s 53 will start off pretty well IMO.

You are looking at it like it is 7k for a tin of wax or 1700 for one tub...But that is not the case. it could be 1700 for 100 cans.

okay now wax that 20k car every week and then when you get a new car you still have your tub so you wax that, then ten years later you get another car and you can wax that every week, since the royale is yours and not vehicle specific, and refillable for life. so in thirty years when you still have your royale, it`s worth it

if I had the coin, i wouldnt mind trying some of these waxes. but putting them on a 20-30k car just doesnt seem right.:hm

It depends... I blew through around $300 worth of various LSPs last year, and probably the same the two years before that... it makes pretty good sense for me to get Vintage in the long run, and I plan on doing so eventually but I can`t swing the expense right now.

the paint on a 20k -30k car isn`t much different than the paint on a 60k-70k car

I use Vintage and it is worth every penny. I know lots of people love to knock it, but I think the price has more to do with that than anything else. It`s definitely not for everybody.

I also am a fan of Zymol and have used Destiny, Vintage and Atlantique in the past. I just don`t like the HD Cleanse very much as a prep. I have been using Menzerna kit for a couple of years and will probably revert back to Zymol as topper.

I has bought a Zymol sample pack some time ago (maybe 3-4 years ago) which has 4oz of Destiny, Atlantique, and Vintage for about $250-. I tried searching around and couldn`t find it anymoe. Also the Zymol website doesn`t seem to list it. If I come across the offer somewhere, I will gladly post it on Autopia.
