windshield wiper fluid

a good crony of mine swears he concocted a mix that worked better than, say, rain-X (rainex). what do you guys have to say about windshield wiper fluid?



stick with rain-X, or any other average consumer stuff?

do you guys have any mixes that worked out for you?

I get a gray smearing with the Rain-X fluid even after changing my wiper blades.

Blue stuff in the winter when it rains/snows so often that keeping my vehicle immaculate isn`t worth it.



Now that summer is rolling around, I need to clean out the fluid reservoir and fill it with some distilled water. It`s not like I`ve ever had washer fluid successfully clean off road bugs, so I`ll just use plain old water for dusting off the glass when it`s already clean. I hope this should also cut down on the spots left behind.

You can use P21S windshield washer booster and it makes whatever fluid you are using leave no marks behind....Worked very well.
