Detailing 2006 LS 430

My mom just picked a 2006 LS 430 today.

Black, with Black interior.

Looking at the paint it has some micromarring.

I have used Zaino on my ex-wife`s 350Z raodster with awesome results.

Just wanted to get the opinion on my process.

Dawn wash,zaino wash, clay, zaino wash,ZAIO, z2pro w/zfx (2 coats),z6,cs,then z8. I will be using the P/C for the application of the product, (not CS).

First of all, a very good choice on the car. Now I don`t really think it is necessary to give your car three washes in one session. Other than that, I don`t see anything particularly wrong with your process. Have fun detailing it.

I`d go: Z7 wash, clay, ZPC, ZAIO, Z5pro x2, Z2pro, Z6, CS, Z8... ZPC will get the paint flawless, and there is no need for a dawn wash or wash after clay.

Do you need to use Z6 after ZAIO and between the Z5pro layers?

No, it is not necessary unless you see some streaking or marring of some sort.
