Hello everybody. I am fairly new to the detailing scene. I don`t have a lot of experience as I used to just wash and wax my cars. Now I am a little more into it but still don`t have a lot of experience. I do everything by hand and don`t yet have the funds to get a PC and other cool stuff.

So I got my Opti-Seal in the mail and had to give it a try right away.

3 weeks ago I clayed with claymagic, used Klasse AIO and megs #26. The megs was wearing thin after a bunch of thunderstorms.

This time I just used Megs NXT wash and then the opti-seal.

The Opti-Seal was a little harder to use than I thought it would be. It was very "grabby" at first and took the pad right out of my hand twice. After about half the car I got better at using it and things went smoothly.

After I finished I took a step back and was amazed. Very nice product.

Here are some pics. I am also a newb when it comes to taking pictures. It was also very cloudy. Sorry for the quality.

Also, can anybody recommend me a good swirl remover for by-hand application? I don`t have the money right now for a PC.

Thanks for your time and if you have any tips I would love to hear them.

Wow, it looks like you dont have any swirls at all! I know a lot of people on here use Megs ScratchX and like it.

1Z makes some good by-hand products - they break down well by hand, cut pretty well, and have a little bit of filling (necessary by hand, IMHO).

What should I apply scratch X with? I have foam and microfiber applicators, microfiber polishing cloths and regular microfiber cloths.

The swirling is very very faint. It does bother me a little that it is there. It was there when I picked the car up. I got the car 2 days after it arrived at the dealership from Japan. They washed and waxed it and didn`t do a very good job.
