Amazon has a DeWalt model DW443 which is what I have, they describe it as an orbital sander, they also have a model DWTD443 described as a orbital polisher price difference of 10 bucks, any one know the difference in these two, both are orbital, please dont respond with one is a sander one is a polisher. maybe the speed has something to do with it, gary

I would go to Dewalt`s website. They probably have the instruction manuals available for download. At the minimum, they should have the specifications.

It could be a missprint too. Here they call it the DW433 in their description:

FREE SHIPPING! - Dewalt Tools (DWTDW443) Right Angle Random Orbit Polisher - DWTDW443 (http://www.tooltopia.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=26390)

Dewalt does not list the polisher version of the machine on their web site.

This is only speculation, but the polisher version may not have the dust collection port. The Dewalt 443 is a decent machine as a sander, but cannot be easily converted to a flexible backing plate like the PC. The orbital head, dust collector and backing plate are and integrated unit. Once you get these off, you have a rotary spindle.
