I decided today to do a quick detail on my truck before work. I was also really wanting to try my new Hitachi rotary with the pads I ordered from Anthony. I am really impressed on how well the Hitachi with my new pads worked today. I only did some spot corrections around the bed of the truck because of some scratches from tree branches. I really like the Optimum line of polishes even more with the rotary, they seem to work better IMO with it then with my PC. As always any comments, complaints or compliments are appreciated. Thanks, Mike...

Wash - ONR w/ lambswool mitt

Spot polish - OP w/ wool pad @ 1700

Final polish - OPS w green opt. pad @ 1500

Opti-sealed - all paint, chrome, windows and rims

Z-16 - tires and trim

I also final buffed all paint w/ a MF sprayed w/ Optimum spray wax

Sorry no befores (wasn`t that dirty)

Looks great. My OptiSeal will be here today. I`m going to try it on my Oxford White F150.

I really like Opti-seal on my truck because it does save me a ton of time and looks real good. I have used OS on silver and white now and both came out looking really reflective.

Very wet looking finish! :)

I have to agree about the time savings. When I first heard about OS and CS being wipe on and done products, I though that was kind of gimmicky. Seriously, it really doesn`t take that long to wipe off a sealant...until I used OS on a Suburban and didn`t have to go back around it to remove excess product.

OS seems to work as advertised or better. It certainly cuts down the time especially if you are doing the roof of a van or SUV. I also find it great on grained plastic trim.

My daily driver is outside 24/7 and the OS has definitely improved the appearance of the paint. Originally I did not think the appearance was enhanced very much but my opinion is changing now that my neighbours are all asking what I have used on it.

That truck doesn`t look new. New has imperfections. That truck looks freaking amazing. The relections you have out of that paint amaze me. As a detailer myself, I am supremely impressed. I think I`m going to try that OS for myself to see how it works for me. Hopefully I`ll be able to get the same results.

F150Sport03 I really appreciate the compliment and I am really loving how OS is working for me on my truck. I just hope these new products like OS and CS keep coming because my time spent on the truck is becoming shorter and the results just keep getting better!!!
