Release of Ultimate Quik Detailer was yesterday. Suppose to be some amazing QD. We will see.
Cue the Meguiars haters ;-) . I`m waiting for ADS to enable the order button! I have a big order waiting on the stuff. I`m sure it will be a well balanced product as most of Meguiars items are, not one outstanding feature, just overall goodness... the Toyota/Honda of detailing.

I had a credit with Meguiars so I sued that 2 weeks ago to place a pre-order... Since it was available for shipping not too long ago, I should receive it today or tomorrow.

Mine is due in tomorrow. Customer Service guy said the new QD is awesome. We will see.

At the Tampa meet we met with someone that will remain nameless that had sampled it, and said it was average at best...I still look forward to trying it.

I don`t see much reason to get excited about anyones QD. If Megs came out with an effective waterless wash that might be worth getting excited about.

In Australia, Megs markets a waterless wash product...but really it`s just their NXT speed detailer.

I got a sample bottle a few weeks ago. It is actually a pretty decent product. Smells just like NXT and has a carnauba look to it, sort of reminds me of how #16 looks. Very slick, no streaking that I noticed. The real selling point is the beading and how well it sheets when you flood the paint with water. Makes conventional washing somewhat easier, IMO.

i won a bottle of the ultimate quik detailer on meguiar`s forum. they randomly drew 30 names from registered users. should be receiving it next week.

Here are some shots of my truck after a wash with Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner (http://www.meguiars.com/?car-washes/Gold-Class-Car-Wash-Shampoo-Conditioner) and an application of Ultimate Quik Detailer (http://www.meguiars.com/?car-maintenance/Ultimate-Quik-Detailer). As I mentined adove this product definatly adds gloss/depth to the finish. I will have to use it a few more times and see how it performs affter application before I can give a fair review, so far it looks impressive! If you don`t have a bottle yet you need to get one!
