There is a store a few miles from my work that sells pads. 3D products.com. They sell pads and it would be much easier for me to just buy from them then to have to order online. Should I be worried with what they`re selling or will I be ok?

Applicators that look just like the Meg`s. I think they are about $1 each in the store.

They also sell Shmitts for $12.

Thanks for the help.

youshould call them and ask them who is manufacturing the foam. Most places get the same foam from the same companies but use different velcro backing.

I hopethat makes sense I am in kind of a hurry, sorry.

Anyone else? I`ll give them a call and see what they say. Do you know you might manufacture most of these pads?

Lake country manufactures most of the foam for pads. There are others but they are the most predominant ones.

No, all pads are not created equal. Even pads from the same manufacturer are not created equal. Case in point, CMA CCS pads. These pads are made by Lake Country, as are the variable contact 6.5" pads I got from TOTL 2 years ago. After a single use, my orange CCS pad is showing wear and tear that my VC pads from two years ago still don`t show to this day and I`ve used them nearly 20 times.

3D sells pads from several manufacturers. SM Arnold is a huge supplier to the carwash and detailing industry. 3D also sells Buff-and-Shine and Edge.

Right, I know they sell Edge. I`m just looking for some basic polish and finish pads.

Basically, I just want to make sure that there pads aren`t going to mess up my paint and they are going to last a while.

SM Arnold makes good quality pads. I`ve used their speedy cut pads on a rotary. I am not sure if they make an orange pad or not.

Edge makes pads for Presta and Malco, and I was at Majestic Solutions the other day and the guy there said they were going to get Edge to make a line for them.
