Sun came out today so I thought I`d detail the little lady`s car.

I took some before images but they don`t really show how dirty the car was. There was literally clumps of pollen in every nook.

The car has some minor marring and I wasn`t so much wanting to remove it. It`s a 10 year old car and lives outside 24/7.

I used a foamgun with Meg`s Goldclass and ONR and soaked the car down to wash away all that nasty pollen.

Clayed with Mother`s and used the QD that came with it. I wasn`t too impressed with the clay, I`m more impressed with claymagic...seems to remove tougher contaminants. Interestingly enough I didnt whipe away the QD after claying and it looked gross...ONR as a QD certainly doesn`t do that.

Next I used Plastx on the headlights. Very impressed with it.

See the difference?

Next I used the PC with a Orange LC pad and Optimum Polish on the hood, roof, and trunk. I then used the PC with a White LC pad and Optimum Poliseal on all of the car except the bumpers and bottom half of the doors. I used Z-AIO by hand on those areas.

Looks very wet. Nice job on the headlights too, very dramatic improvement! :)

Car is nice and glossy in person and the flake pops very nicely. PS+OS = great combo. I think I`m done with LC pads though, time for something new

now back to the wheels and tires :)

Looks great out in the sun!

We have sun today in San Antonio. I don`t think I have seen it for a couple of weeks now.

What problems are you having with the LC pads?

The velcro backing is starting to seperate on the Orange pad.

The white pads seem to clog super easy and the velcro seems kind of weak. It comes off the backplate at really unoportune times.

I don`t use the LC on a PC. Just a rotary. I have used lots of different brands and always stay with the LC for durability. I will let the person I know there about the problems your having.

could it be the backing plate that`s the issue?
