I`m going to detail my car this week and I was wondering if this was a good start?

The paint is in good condition just some light swirls and water spots. I am going to use Sonus Paint Cleanser the a Carnuba Wax should I throw a glaze inbetween these two or not. I keep seeing things about the Danese glaze and wondered if I should use that also

Thanks for the help

Yes, I believe you should polish between the cleaner and the wax. Remember, the polish brings out the shine and the wax locks in that shine and protects.

If you are not going to polish, then the glaze may help hide some of the imperfections in the paint.

One question, what kind of wax are you going to finish with? If it is any kind of cleaner wax, then it would probably negate the use of the glaze.

I am going with a straight carnuba. No cleaner wax.

I have said it before and I will say it again, clay is more important than you think, use it! I would clay a brand new car before I waxed it no questions asked.
