Hi all,

I have been away overseas for the past few months, I arrived back to find my Dad has washed my Carbon Grey Mica Mazda SP23 (he thought he was helping me) it appears what ever he washed it with has water marked the paint. It was only a spray and rinse wash, but he didn`t dry it, he just parked it outside in full sun for over 2 days and its left marks all over the paint.

I have tried a vinigar rinse, I have tried Klasse on a Excel Details Green pad with PC, also VM on a green pad. None of these have moved the water marks. I didn`t want to get too aggressive, its a brand new car, its less than 6 months old. I do have all the Excel Detail Pads if I need to get more aggressive, I just don`t want to do more harm

I am not sure if the Mazda paint is soft or hard. I just want my paint back to the pristine finish it was before I left.

I am surprised it has marked this easily, it had Zaino 3xZ5 and 2xZ2 coats before I left.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Clint

Subbin for my Reflex Silver Mazda with the same kind of etching.
