I live in a complex with no sources for water, so I`m forced to rely on either a pay n spray or tunnel wash. The pay n spray has huge signs up that say "No Bucket Washing" and I don`t want to use the giant soapy brush they have. Are tunnel washes that bad? It seems like that`s my only option at this point.

Anyone have any ideas?

If you can run a 2 gallon bucket of water, you need to pick up some Optimum No Rense and Shine (ONR). This will allow you to effectively wash a car with about 2 gallons of water or so. All you will need other than ONR is a bucket, a couple of wash mitts and some micrfiber towles.

However, that implies that you at least have water in your apartment. However, if you don`t even have that, I have so clue. I would hope that you at least have running water in your apartment.

How bout` buying a 10gal garden srayer from OSH for $20, filling w/water from your tub and your set. Hard to believe there`s no water anywhere to hook up? Landscaping?

If I didn`t have running water at my place, a clean car would be the least of my worries!

Thanks for the ONR idea. There are sprinklers that pop up at night, but I really don`t want to screw around with them.

Does Auto Zone or Pep Boys stock ONR, or is it better to order online?

Online - no auto parts stores have it

From all the reviews, I think you`re right. Its rare to see such universal love for a product. Am I OK using Vroom Diaper Towels, or should I use MF?

MF all the way-don`t let the diapers touch your paint. Get some good MF waffle weave towels for drying.

With ONR I recommend wool mitts to wash, WW to dry. Lacking a WW towel, at least some other kind of plush MF.
