I did not have any before pics, but it has some micro marring and some normal scratches and some cloudiness to the paint. Has some stone chips on the hood that I will touch up someday and the front bumper needs to be re-painted cause of severe stone damage. But I blended her in just fine!

:hifive:

Wash: Z7

Clay: Zaino clay

Polish: Menzerna PO83 SIP Megs Polish Pad @ 1000-1500-1000rpm

Polish #2: ZAIO LC Black finish pad PC#3

Seal: Z5, CS, Z8.

Wheels: Washed with Pinkstuf, p21 gel wheel cleaner

Z6 to polish to a gloss and seal with CS (did an outstanding job for such a quicky) CS made the metallic silver in the wheels pop. My friend was amazed at how the wheels came out

Wash windows in and out: Z6 (my favorite new glass cleaner with absolutly no streaking)

Z6 is my favorite detail spray! So easy to use and works flawless!

Looks awesome rydawg! I need to do a 2000 S40 in the exact color in a few weeks. Planning to use Megs polish pad on my PC with #83 and #9 SR. Then move on to HD Cleanse and Vintage as LSP, of course :-) Did you find the paint hard to work with?

My eyes are bleeding!

Great work Ryan. I`m not sure how you could make it look any better than that!

Ryan..Excellent work....the gloss is off the charts...my menzerna packages from over seas are just starting to roll in now..I just ran out of my stash..lol...

That Burgandy really looks wet....funny how the Meg`s and LC pads work best with Menzerna....I did a little section yesterday with the meg`s polishing pad..worked out nice...I can not get my edge pads to work as good as the Megs and LC with menzerna...wonder why...the edge seem to suck up product and run dry faster...

Thanks John, Josh, and Al!

Al, I did try a blue Edge 2000 pad and it broke the po83 (3.01) too fast and mostly got stuck in the pad and dried up fast. I just think the edge pads want to break down polishes too fast which is good for most polishes, but this particular polish wants to be broken slowly. I think it is wierd but the megs and lc polish pads work perfect with it. Also any pad with a higher cut will not work as good as a soft polish pad. Plus the megs or LC polish pad breaks down the polish evenly and removes defects as it corrects and leaves a high gloss finish ready for LSP.

Also I started this polish at 600 rpm and spread it over my working area to break down the lube evenly and then put my speed up to 1500rpm. This was the best aproach to this finicky polish and I was very impressed at what it could do, especially on just a polish pad.

Volvo has pretty hard clear and there was a couple of defects that I was very surprised at how it removed them. Also, the gloss that is left behind is just amazing for a correction process. I was going to hit the car again with 85rd or 106ff, but did not find the neeed for it and went straight to ZAIO for clean up and to lock in the glow.

Thanks Bryan! That`s what it looked like in person. It is very thick and glossy though....

A camera could not pick up how thick the gloss actually was. I should have taken pics under halogens.

Yes...same here...i start out at 600 and spread it out and then bump it to 1500....The edge did seem to break it down to fast..but it absorbs it also...so by absorbing it and leaving less polish on the paint it finished it off to fast with out much results...I do not know..but I guess its LC pads and megs for the Menz polishes...
