hello all!

this forum is awesome, i have always heard it referenced on other forums throughout the years, but never made it over till now.

read up a lot on the 2 new zaino products (thanks to the forum) and used them this weekend.

the buick was just aio and cs

the accord was the full treatment- aio, z5(2x), z2, cs. z5,z2 were enabled, z6 in between each coat, waited an hour after cs app, and topped with z8

i had NO problems applying CS. used very sparingly and had NO streaking... this is an amazing product. i have been using zaino for over 9 years... and this is the most incredible finish i have ever witnessed...

i will do the full process on my anthracite TL this weekend... :)

Both look great. CS is an amazing product. CS is too easy to use and has the tendency to lead one to do neighbors cars. ;)

ZAIO is probably the one of the best AIO out there for appearance and durability, IMHO.:heelclick

I am new to the Zaino lineup. I was wondering what you do to prep your car before applying Z-AIO. My paint is in pretty good condition (although its tough to tell since its silver), so if I were to simply wash and dry it would that be good enough for the prep??

I clayed my car about 5 months ago, so no need to do that again.

So my process would be

Z-AIO

Z-2 pro

Z-CS

Z-8

Should I be polishing first?

Thanks!!!!

You might want to do the plastic bag test to see if you need another clay. Place your fingers inside of a plastic sandwich bag and rub it on your clean paint. If the surface feels rough, clay it again.

If you feel the need to polish then you can, if not its not required before ZAIO.

Wash

clay- if needed

ZAIO by hand or PC

Z2pro by hand

ZCS

Z8

Thanks that is great and I think my paint is in great condition. I just want to make sure that I am getting the best results possible on my car. I keep hearing how Zaino products are great if the PREP work is GREAT. I am not really sure what that means when my paint is in good condition so I will take your suggestion of simply going straight to the Z-AIO.

Thanks again!

^^ the most prep i have ever done on any of my vehicals is clay before z.

i didnt clay either car.

the accord had previous coats of z5, z2 since it was new.

the buick was a MESS... it sits under a pine tree all day, and its covered with sap and debris. no doubt it could have used prep work- but i didnt have the time, and i wasn`t going to put in the effort for a car that sits under a tree 24/7.

i tried some bug & tar on the sap, it didnt do much, if anything.

all that was done was AIO & CS and you can see the results just from those 2 steps...

Zaino Z-CS Clear seal and Zaino Z-AIO All -IN-ONE are the only 2-products you used on the buick correct? If so,I`m going to order up this combination! :)

yep... and it was my `guinea pig` as well... my first time using these 2 new Z products, i practiced on the buick before i hit the accord... so i think it could have come out better still...

the last thing that was done to the buick was a coat of meguiars nxt about 2 years ago.
