Today started early at 7:00 A.M. My brother and I had two cars to do, and I would like to thank him. While he is just learning, he did a very good job and kept me honest. The goal was to deep clean both cars in prep for a full Zaino treatment. While we were at it, we cleaned the engine of the Lexus (the Z06 was one of the nicest cars I have had to detail and was in almost perfect condition). Both interiors were cleaned, the family mobile (Lexus) got its carpets and floor mats shampooed.

Bill lives near railroad tracks, so as expected the Lexus had some rail dust and contamination. This picture is after about 1/8 the hood. The Z06 only had minor contamination on the hood/roof/and tail. In comparison, it went rather smooth. My brother tackled the Corvette while I clayed the Lexus.

After washing/claying/drying both cars my brother went to work on the interior of the Corvette while I tacked the engine of the Lexus.

Another picture of my brother working the on the interior of the Z06 (I screwed up his hair cut, behind his hair. Opps!!! Sorry Ryan!!!!)

With my brother tackling the Z06`s interior I turned my attention to the family mobile.

I used Meguiar`s Quik Out to tackle some of the tough stains then shampooed with Meg`s APC.

Later, when I was Zaioning the Z06 in the carport, my brother did an excellent job cleaning the leather with Z9, then conditioning with Z10. The interior was wiped down with Quik Interior Detailer.

Here is a shot after it was all done.

The Z06 was then pulled into the car port for some Zaino. I started by applying Z-AIO with a PC/9006 pad. My brother was kind enough to snap this picture of my working when I wasn`t expecting it. I finished applying the various coats of polish while my brother hand polished the rims using NXT Metal Polysh and dressed the tires and wheelwells.

With the Corvette outside, the Lexus was pulled inside and recieved the same process as the Corvette, finished with a Z8 wipe down.

Great job on both cars. :bow

Gotta love Millennium Yellow Z06`s.;) both of these colors scream with good prep and Zaino. Try some CS on both and you won`t believe how wet and crystal clear the paint will become even more so.

Todd, Great job on both. So how do you like the ZAIO so far?

Thanks for the all the compliments, yesterday was long hot day!

Bryan I like the ZAIO very much. Its wierd for me (comming from mostly Meg`s) to be apply to apply something over rubber, plastic, and trim and the only effect is to make it look better. I applied with with a megs finishing pad on speed 4, and it went on smooth as butter and made the paint pop. Thanks for all your help man!!!!!!
