This is my car, detailed a few weeks ago, I finally got a digital camera and just figured out how to download them onto the PC and resize.

Before-and-after shots....the car hadn`t been detailed since November 2004, 3 layers of Klasse got it through the New York winter. I would say it took me about 8 hours to put on the new 3 layers. I find the claying is the toughest step in terms of time and effort. Didn`t use the PC 7424...maybe later this summer (car is 1 year old in June).

Here`s the "before"....

Hey....the pics aren`t attaching...what`s wrong? Is there a size or quantity limit on JPEGs?

upload them with photobucket.com, and then hotlink them to this site.

very nice hondaman, the 4th pic looks like it should be in a sales brochure.

What camera did you pick-up?

Thanks, I got a PENTAX Optio S5i...very small camera, but 5 megapixels. Plenty of functions, low-power optical and digital zoom, but it gets the job done if you want something that can fit in your jacket pocket.

what did you use, especially on the wheels/tires. Those look great.

Thanks Mattias, I think all I used was soap and water, believe it or not to clean them. I had double-sealed the wheels with Klasse SG or Poorboys EX-P (can`t remember) back in November...the wheels were dirty (see the BEFORE shot) from my list of URL`s in the post above. But it came right off -- I didn`t need to use any Eagle A2Z.

After I cleaned them with regular Poorboys car wash, water, and a sponge, I dried the wheels, used a terry-cloth and/or clay for the few noticeable dark blotches in tough-to-clean/reach corners (very few, thankfully!) and then finally re-applied 2 coats of Klasse or PB-EXP sealant.

I can`t say it enough: get that sealant on your wheels, 2 coats. It takes 5 minutes to hit all 4 wheels, another 5 to clean them, and then you do it again. But the wheels stay clean and protected -- awesome.

BTW....I FINALLY FOUND THIS THREAD...ARE WE IN THE OLD "MAIN STREET DETAILING" SECTION...can anything go in this section? If I post about 303 or claying, does it go here or in the new sections designated for them exclusively? Sorry, been away for a week.....
