I heard about washing your car using the two bucket method

I usually change my bucket three times,

I`m pretty anal about how I wash my car.

Basically I spray the car down.

fill up a large bucket with cold water a lot of car soap.

wash half the car with brightly coloured wash mitt a small section at a time

then dump and refill and do the other half.

then once the second half is washed

I then dump and refill and do the the whole car.

I later use that bucket to clean inside the doors, trunk and wheels. with a second demoted wash mitt.

(LIKE I SAID I`M PRETTY ANAL ABOUT CAR WASHING)

If have any info on the two bucket method please let me know.

If I am not mistaken, it is where you have one bucket with car soap and one with clean water. And you are supposed to dip your sponge or mitt into the clean water after wiping off your car before going back to the soapy bucket.

A search will probably serve you better. You`ll be able to get detailed info.

Basically, this is how it works. You have two buckets, one with soap and one with plain rinsing water. When you wash, you dunk your mitt/washing media into soap solution and wash a panel of the car. Then you put it in your rinsing bucket and rinse out all the dirt particles. Then you go back to the soap bucket and redo this process. This will help minimize contamination of soap bucket and wash media.
