Evening all,
I did this detail yesterday but haven`t had a second to post up the results. This detail came out great but started bad. I saw the car and thought it would only be minor dirt/grime on the lower panels but it really turned out to be a heavy amount of IFO, brake dust, grease, and grime. Between QEW, APC, Bug and Tar Removers, and Clay, I could only get 75% removed. The polishing took the remaining staining away. It wasn`t fun to deal with and I have no idea how it got so bad in only a year.
Anyways, started with the interior. It was more sandy/dusty than anything. In the after shots, there is a glare on the rubber insert on the mat, it wasn`t dirt/discoloration. Final processes:
-Vacuum
-303 Spot Remover and Simple Green/Water mix on the carpets/mats
-APC 10:1 to clean vinyl, rubber, plastic
-Adam`s VRT to protect/dress
-NXT Glass Cleaner on glass and gauges
-Simple Green cut 6:1 to degrease door jams
-Adam`s Detail Spray then OCW on door jams

-Rinse with QEW
-Dress with Meguiar`s Hyper Dressing 2.5:1
-All metal polished with Flitz
-All painted surfaces/clear plastic/under CF hood polished with VM
