2004 Lexus SC430. Weekly wash customer, polished with Optimum Poli-Seal and sealed with Clearkote Carnauba Moose about 5-6 weeks ago, just an ONR wash and a single coat of Opti-Seal. Seemed to work just fine over well cured CMW and added noticable wetness.

1967 Chevy Camaro. Detailed it last summer, pretty much only driven on nice days since. The owner originally had me detail the car to sell but she decided to hold on to it a while longer. Just an ONR wash and Optimum Car Wax. Interior just got a quick wipedown.

BTW, not a real SS. 327/powerglide powertrain.

1999 Mercedes ML430. I see this one about once a month, the rest of the time it goes through a tunnel wash. It really, really needs some polishing but there is some light body damage and he says to wait until after it is fixed...and has for about 6 months now. Anyway, he just wanted some protection on the paint. I had used Poorboy`s Polish w/sealant on it about 4 months ago, still some slickness and decent beading so I just added a coat of Opti-Seal.

2005 Cadillac Escalade ESV. The owner bought it from his father-in-law and wanted it cleaned up. His primary focus was the interior, said a simple polish and wax would suffice for the exterior. His wife will be driving it and he says it isn`t worth making it perfect for her to haul around kids in. I was relieved to hear that, since the paint wasn`t in great shape. Halo swirls and lots of scuffs on the hood. I decided to try Zaino Z-PC on it since it has decent cut and finishes down nicely. Seems like a bit more aggressive version of Menzerna 106FF, right down to the light dusting. Did a very good job via Cyclo and Edge green polishing pads, I`d say it knocked down the defects 75-80% which was a tremendous improvement. I then apply Z5 Pro to seal the paint. I will be seeing this Escalade about once a month and was told to concentrate on the interior. I`ll probably just use Z8 on it for the monthly visits, maybe reapply Z5 every 4 months or so.

Hazy sunshine, 1 PM, lots of concrete and a black vehicle....not the best conditions for pics, sorry. No interior shots, every area of the interior was half shadow, half sun.

Great looking wet paint on all of them, I am actually impressed at you giving Zaino a fair run. Also, kudos to the Caddy owner for upgrading the brakes after putting those massive wheels on it. Most people don`t realize that they are ABSOLUTELY KILLING thier braking performance by putting those massive rims on.

2005 Ford F-150. I wash this one once or twice a month, last polished in October. I thought I was also polishing out his Corvette but he bent a rim on a pothole and the new wheel isn`t in yet. I had even bought some halogens at Sears since it was an ugly, cold, windy and cloudy day. Oh well, used them on the F-150 instead. The paint was still pretty much completely swirl free, so I lightly polished it with Zaino All in One using a black LC CCS finishing pad and topped with Optimum`s Opti-Seal.

2007 GMC Denali. Weekly wash customer, used Werkstatt`s Prime and Acrylic Jett on it when she first got it a couple months ago and tested out Zaino Clear Seal and Optimum Opti-Seal, each on one half of the hood about 5 weeks or so ago. Both sides were still slick and beading but I was told by her boss (who pays for the Denali owner`s weekly washes) to put another coat of wax on it so I guess that test is dead.

ONR wash and Opti-Seal:

...and with that, I am off to bed. Busy day today, rode 26.5 miles yesterday and about 24 today and have to be early tomorrow. :wavey

Wow, I don`t think I have ever seen such a beautiful black Accord in my life!

That said, I`ve got some good inside information the Accord is actually an `07 ;)

Beautiful work as always!

I find it interesting that the ZAIO worked with non-Zaino products. The Zaino process seemed so regimented and complex (you MUST use it this way!) I never took the trouble to try it. Having said that, I will get some Opti-Seal when my AJT runs low.

Also, I really like those wheels on the ML. Sadly, I don`t think my wife will want to upgrade hers.

Love all the work but the SC430 really scores.
