I did a light bit of detailing for a customer this weekend.

He wanted his 85 911 clayed polished and waxed.

The car is in fantastic shape. The pictures do not do the car and it`s owner justice for the years of loving care it has received.

It was showing a tiny bit of light oxidization. Nothing compared to many i have seen.

Here are the before wash shots.

Here are the shots of the vehicle after the Polish. I started with po85rd (thanks Phil for it) at 1100-1200 and did not get the look i wanted. I bumped it up to 1400 and was able to get a deep gloss free of oxidation.

Here is the car after the 2 layers of CG 50/50 concours wax. IMHO this became a completely different red.

Wow, that is sure a difference. It`s great to see an owner who`s taken care of their car for a long time and kept it that wonderful looking. You brought it back to like new condition.

Very nice!!!!!!!!! Deep and wet. Awesome.

BTW, couldn`t you get some cheap MF Towels to use instead of those nice ones? :D:D:D

The owner had kept it up, most of the credit goes to him.

Very nice. I owned a Guards Red 1983 911 and they do shine up well. Looks like your customer`s got a 996 cab in the garage as well.
