Yes another BLACK Supra. This is my third one in a month and second one within a 24 hour period of the one I did Friday. I got to the clients house at 10am right after he changed the wheels. Yes, the wheels he put on are the same wheels as the one I did on Friday!!!! Except these are not a drag setup like the other ones. This was is also a single turbo set-up like the one on Friday and running over 500rwhp. The entire car has been repainted (clearcoated as well, since Supra’s are single stage paint) at some point and the front end was repainted a few months ago. I wanted to go a little more perfect on this one since I had more time to spend and more paint to play with.

Process: (Exterior Only)

Wash and clay

EC with orange cut @ 1500rpms (Multiple passes)

Menz FPII with white polish pad @ 1500rpms

Menz 106FF with blue finishing pad @ 1000rpms

Pinnacle Souveran by hand

Wheels polished by hand with Flitz

Total time took: Got there at 10am and left at 11:30pm-ish!!!!! Over 13 hours just on the exterior!

Pics – pretty much raining all day and obviously when I was done is was dark. I did the best I could with pics! :(

Afters: I tried my best to play with settings and positioning of the lights to get some decent shots. Some turned out to be pretty good.

Again, awesome work! What did you use to polish those wheels with?

Flitz Metal Polish...Also can be used on Glass, fiberglass, paint, plastic etc. Pretty versatile but expensive at the same time. Lays down pretty good protection for a polish and seal combo!

01bluecls- Yeah, that turned out great, nice work!

How do you compare the OE ss and the repaint with b/c (besides the flat surface of the repaint, yeah that guy did a nice job)? I`m usually a sucker for nice ss so I`m curious about your take on the two cars.

At first I thought I was gonna only have to take 9 hours but after I started getting the first panel pretty close to perfect, I thought I really want this car to come out close to perfect all over. I would say its about 95% swirl free. The 5% are swirls that were in small areas (A-pillar and certain areas of the side skirts and read front bumpers areas I couldnt get my 4inch pads to manuever around.) I polished those areas by hand but the results are always going to less then machine polished results. BTW my back hurts really bad. Between Friday and Saturday I have put close to 22 hours detailing two black supras!
