My Neighbor called me today and wanted to know if I could detail his Denali. He has some people coming in tomorrow that are important. I was out working on an H2 and had a dent job to complete after that.

I told him I would do what ever I could for him.

When I got home I found this in my driveway.

I only had time to Poli-Seal with the Dynabrade and a LC CCS pad.

This is one section that was worked.

This section has not been worked.

The poli-seal has some decent correcting abilities but this paint needed more.

Oh well next time

I toped it with two coats of the Opti-Seal

Did a complete interior detail.

My father had that same truck, even the same tires. The paint was a PITA to work with.

You did a great job!!!

After I eat I will see if I can post the pictures a little bigger.

The Opti-Seal is the last of the final test sample.

Considering the swirls, that isn`t a bad amount of correction for a one step. The paint turned out very wet. :)

Every time he has asked me to wash his truck I tell him it needs serious polishing.

Figures the one time he wants it done I don`t have the time.

He was amazed any way.

Very good post. In regards to the ability of the new Optimum products, I find this thread very informative for black car owners.

Thanks

Thats why I love poli seal. It works great for customers that are looking for a lower priced job and it will still blow the non autopians mind how great the car looks after. I love that truck btw.

This was all done out in the sun and wind. I really wanted to try the Zaino out in the full sun this weekend on a car but had problems with it friday on a dark blue toyota van.

The Zaio got sticky when I was applying it with the cyclo. I had to go over the car by hand and the Zaio to remove it in some areas. This was all done in the shop. The results we good but just extra work!
