From what I have gathered..

In terms of cut

FPII is somewhere between #82 and #80?

IP is somewhere between #80 and #83?

I have used Menzerna polish in the past and remember it dusting pretty bad, but how is the learning curve compared to Meg`s. I don`t remember the play time, its been a while.

Any differences (from anyboy who has made the switch) would be appericated. Also, I do 95 percent of my buffing with a rotary, and will probably be using ZPC with a PC. Thanks!!!

Can`t really speak for Meguiar`s polishes, but Menzerna is my favorite. They do dust some...especially when worked too long. Playing with them a little is the only way to figure out the exact point they`re fully broken down, but they go fully translucent before they start dusting. If you get excessive dusting, you`ve gone just too far.

Once you figure them out, they produce predictable and spectacular results, IMO.

You can stop or cut down the dust significantly with a polish enhancer/working time extender. Though you can get more dusting when working on a car in high humidity and dry climates. (from what I was told)

I`ve had this happen when in my garage and buffing on a 100+ F degree day.

IP is the only one to dust bad. The FP variants are either no dust or slight.
