View Full Version : Why doesn`t FK let you mix and match in their sampler anymore?

I am going to purchase a gallon of the FK 425 QD and when I called and asked them if I could change some of the samples in their pack, I was told no. Is there a special salesperson I should talk to? Is there an Autopia promotion that allows one to mix and match? I thought I read where someone did this not to long ago. I really wanted to try the sampler but just needed to exchange a couple of items for something else. I am getting the gallon of 425 but I thought it wouldn`t have been too difficult to change some samples. I probably would have ordered more things if I like the samples I wanted. Go figure, I thought the customer was king with them, but I guess not.:wall

The assortment is already pre-packaged and ready-to-go!

I got some free samples with my last order there. I didn`t even ask for them. It was their decontamination wash.

They still give out free samples upon request, but there have been reports that some people didn`t get one if they didn`t ask for one. I believe they used to just stick one in anyway.

As for mix and match on the sampler pack, I wasn`t aware that they ever did that.

I went ahead and ordered a gallon of the FK 425 and they are including samples of the odor control and glaze that I wanted. It seems funny that I would have paid for the sampler pack if they could have let me mix and match, and now they are sending me the samples I wanted for free. I am one of those people if given a deal will buy more just because I feel guilty for taking something for free:spot ( that must be their plan).

You should enjoy the 425, it`s great stuff. Let us know how the samples work out for you. IIRC, their glaze has a fair amount of bite and can actually do some paint correction.
