A buddy of mine asked me to detail his `97 Ford Ranger before he sold it. He told me he hadn`t waxed it in years.
He didn`t want to pay for a full paint restoration (swirl removal, paint correction, etc). ... so I just went at it with Hi Temp HC leveler, my rotary and a green Edge light cutting pad at about 1200rpm. It cut through the oxidation and dullness, restored the paint color and brightness, and was LSP ready in one step.
The Hi Temp levelers are a great value, user friendly and effective.
Here are a few quick before/after photos :

From dull/oxidized to bright and shiny.
Anybody notice the Chevy wheels on a Ford Ranger???
