Hey guys, after watching the Bugatti Veyron detail I was considering making my own degreaser. Seeing as to how it`d help with wheels, rims and lower areas of the car what do you think about mixing dawn or AIO or both with some water and using those as a degreaser?

why not just buy degreaser?

I`m pretty sure the "citrus degreaser" Paul used was P21s total auto wash.

The wheel cleaner gel was the P21s wheel cleaner.

I wouldn`t expect Dawn and AIO to play nice together...I`d expect the Dawn to mess with the AIO (e.g., emulsifying its carrier agents for one thing) and the whole mix to make a royal mess when you rinsed it off (or tried to).

TAW isn`t the cheapest stuff in the world, but it`s what I use for jobs like this. At least I *know* it won`t hurt anything.

Yeah I can`t see Dawn and AIO working well together

Looking for a great degreaser then get Pinkstuf. A gallon is like $10 and it is the best I have tried. Cleans engines awesone, tires wheels, tar, paint if diluted and brightens the paint also, etc. Also I do mechanical work and it cleans greasy hands better than anything and is safe too.

Carquest, Robbinns auto, VIP auto parts sell it. I could not be without this one and I have been using it for 10 years.

Anyone else use pinkstuff...I use my purple power

It`s stronger than purple power and safer. Trust me you will love it. I`ve used it on muddy trucks after 4 wheelin and works perfect. The only downfall is it is too sudsy sometimes. On interiors it needs to be diluted like 200/1.

No chemical smell neither and will not kill grass. Lots of lubrication also. Incredible product!
