Im looking for a wax for the new truck and I wanted to get yalls opinions instead of heading to the store and buying some generic brand. Which would work best for:

1) applied/removed by hand

2) protects for at least a month

3) works well with a white truck

4) Price isnt much of a factor if it protects good

5) If it could be picked up locally at an automotive store would be a bonus

Thanks

Collinite 845 Insulater Wax. Can be found at most Car Quest`s. Lasts for 4-6 months, and is easy to use. If desired, pick up Duragloss Aquawax and spritz that once a month for even more gloss/protection.

This is a very subjective question. A lot depends on color and what you are looking for. It is a preference thing.

A member with a white subaru uses FK 1000 paste and/or FK`s pink wax paste with great results. Otherwise, 845 or clearkote CMW would work nicely.

thanks, I guess I`ll try the 845. What applicator pad/removal pad works best? Microfiber?

yellow foam to apply, a quality plush MF towel to remove. MF apps absorb too much product, making it a waste. You can also apply it with a small 4" lc ccs blue or gray pad. the ccs helps save product and you can make application faster and more even then by hand.
