I used neverdull on my chrome wheels. The wheel gets hazy looking and it wipes off. However the neverdull swab is completely black. I`m worried maybe my rims are have a clear on them? anyone have any ideas. Is it safe for me to use this or should i avoid it? THANKS

NevrDull would only turn black if there was no clear coat to start with.

nor should a clearcoat

are you sure your wheels aren`t polished?

Your wheels probably aren`t chrome but aluminum.

You might be seeing extra brake dust imbedded in the wheel that cleaning didn`t remove well ...My Chrome ones do the same

It probably is just dirt and brake dust. If the wheeles look fine when your done, your good.

I have never used Neverdull on any metal and not had it turn black (the cotton wadding). I first started using it in 1968 on Uncle Sam`s big gray boats with aircraft on the roof.
