Exterior only. Client said the car was in pretty bad shape and not to worry about the inside because of his dog. :hm

So what was I in for? Just the opposite of the Bronco from 2 days ago. The car looked pretty good. Normally that age 5 series are trashed in my experience.

I was told that the car didn`t need paint correction.... that the car had no swirls. :D :grinno:

Anyways, I started very early this morning and while washing the car, the sun let me see the paint for a minute or so. While it wasn`t terrible, the car was covered with them.

To be honest, he was overpaying me for what he wanted. He left the check in the car for me.

I decided to level the paint a bit. Today was mostly cloudy, but I ended up removing about 80+% of the imperfections.

I had the best pictures in Manual mode but of course I overexposed them :wall :wall

Thanks Andrew - One of the neighbors asked me to detail (next monday) his 1986 SL that is also red with like 16000 miles on it.

Thank you guys!

Don`t you love details like that? It always seems like the ones that are "in really bad shape" are actually not bad and the one that are "almost mint" are hideous. :)

Nice work.

great job Thomas. I love those e39`s as well, especially with those m wheels.

You must love red BMW`s at this point after doing all those black ones.
