Hello all. Still new to the board but not new to the art of detailing. I`ve been detailing pretty much since I could walk. Have been doing this for probably 10-12 years and getting paid for it. Many call me OCD and think I require medication. However, I love what I do and do what I love. Be nice though when it comes to comments, still intimidated by some of the work I see here :xyxthumbs

Anywho, few general pics. My Mom is selling her little S10 Blazer so it was time to pimp it to make it more attractive. Didn`t require much as it only has 37,500 miles on it and is a 2000 model year. Also helps that I`ve maintained it for all these years. Well, it turned out awesome I think and already got a possible buyer coming to look at it Saturday.

Engine compartment needed some cleaning, it was a bit dirty. Quick soak down with Purple Power fixed that. Blew everything off and wiped it down. Then it got squirted with Armor All Tire Foam. I know there is better stuff but I just love the foaming and cleaning it does. Wiped that all down and that project was done. Also hit the fender wells and visible suspension with Purple Power and juice them with Tire Foam. Noticed after uploading pictures, forgot to clean the hood latch area!

Exterior: Washed with DP Auto Bath Shampoo first, with a Shmitt. Front clip got clayed, rest didn`t require claying. Hit it with 3M Perfect It II and a LC Orange pad via the PC. After that, went over it with Pinnacle #2 FSR with a LC White polishing pad with the PC on 5-6. Then went after it with a LC Gray pad with the PC on 5-6 and 3M Glaze. Next, nice even application of Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Carnuba and a LC Blue pad. Removed with Cobra micros then hit it with Z8.

Interior: Just got sucked clean and everything got wiped down with a chamois, nothing fancy. Windows, clean to begin with so they just got wiped down with a chamois then hit with Z8. Overall the whole thing turned out very nice and presents itself very well for a 7 year old vehicle. It is pewter which doesn`t show up so well when there is no sun. On to the pictures. Also threw in a picture of my little white S10 and a cool reflect pic from a previous job. Few pics are dark as the sun decided to disappear when it was time to shoot pics.

Very wet looking! :)

I`ve done a few Jimmys and Tahoes in that color and it is tough getting a nice wet shine on that color like you did.

Very nice work man! I`m digging that S10 pick up too. Specs on it? is it yours?
