AutoBlog reports" (http://www.autoblog.com/2007/03/27/exciting-car-life-city-autobacs-coming-to-the-u-s/) that AutoBacs is coming to the East Coast, taking over Strauss Discounts. From what I hear, the one in Southern California has a pretty good following.

meh... Autobacs is all right. A step or two above the typical auto parts store. Lots of goofy stuff (lighted valve stem caps, washer fluid caps, etc.- stuff I would never install on my car- but to each his own. They DO have a decent selection of detailing supplies tho.

last few times i`ve been there, the customer service wasn`t anything spectacular either...
