I`m going to do a guy`s 2007 Black GMC 1500 4 door truck today. This guy loves his vehicles (just bought 47 tags last month), and I really want his truck to look good. Since it`s so new I hope there aren`t many swirls, but I won`t know until I get there. I plan on usually mostly duragloss products on it. How does this sound?

Wash w/ CG citrus soap via foam gun

Dry w/ Guzzler

Apply 105 via rotary and blue pad

Apply Aquawax

I was thinking of using some Megs 7 glaze to enhance the look, but not sure where to put it in the process. Is it needed and where should it go in the process? Thanks!

I don`t think you can use a glaze like #7 under a sealant.:nixweiss

So just go w/ 105 via rotary w/ blue pad and then top w/ AW?

You can use it with a sealant that is compatible like Meguiars #21-all of Meguiars products are compatible.

You don`t need #7. Apply 105 and AW and you`ll be very happy with the results. The #7 will interfere with the 105 bonding to the surface.

Why use a rotary to apply a sealant..105 goes on so easy by hand....and you will use less product....and the oils in the glaze may hinder the bonding with 105..plus the mild cleaners in 105 used with a rotary will remove the glaze I bet if you use the rotary..you will kick in the cleaner big time

Using 105 by hand keeps the very mild cleaners dormant...add heat and rapid circular motion may wake them up..
