View Full Version : Is there a Stainless Polish ?

I`ve got myself a underride bar coming to me. It`s basically a *brush bar* that sits underneath the chassis of the car. It`s tubular SS.



I`ve yet to do SS polishing yet. The metal polishes I have in my stash is Mothers billet, mothers chrome, and plenty of flitz polish....all not made for SS.



Any recommendations.

It depends whether the accessory is brushed stainless or mirror finished. If brushed and you want to mirror finish it, you`ll need to buff with #0000 steel wool and move towards Mother`s Billet or NXT Metal Polysh.



If it`s mirror finished, the 2 products above will work just fine. I use them with a cotton buffing wheel attachment to my drill and polish my exhaust system.
