Hey guys, are these any better for your skin then the other wheel cleaners? What are your opinions on how well they work versus the regular formulas used?

If they contain d-limonene, that too can be hazardous. I have no input regarding their effectiveness though. I would go with a wheel cleaner that does not have HF or ABF acid in it. One that comes to mind is TOL`s wheel wash. Wearing rubber gloves will definitely help protect your hands.

I`ve been using SimpleGreen for years w/o any problems and it`s useful for cleaning many other things :)

I`ve only needed a acid cleaner for my own rims which were covered in racing brake pad dust (hawkblue).

The FK1 wheel cleaner might be worth looking at. It has a slight citrus odor--don`t know if it is citrus-based. It has a #1 on the safety scale which is good. Product works very well, price is right.

I use Eagle One, works fine, no problems so far!
