After I used my pads the other day I didn`t clean them right away. I am gonna buy some specific cleaner for them. What works the best? Should I be using one of the brushes to wipe off some polish off my pads during usage of them? If so how do you know when?

I use Snappy Clean Pad Cleaning Powder (made by Lake Country). You can get it from Autogeek or Pakshak. I dissolve a packet in 3 gallons of hot water, put all my dirty pads in and let them sit for 30 minutes, then agitate and rinse clean. The pads come out looking brand new. :)

How long can you go before cleaning pads? Is it necessary to wash them after each use?

Yea, i would wash them after each use, or else the polish/wax will get hard inside your foam pads and its not a pretty picture.

Cleaning them:

If I was dealing with a lot of pads on a regular basis, I`d really consider one of those little electric bucket washers like the Wonder Washer or the Cyclone whatever. They range from 39 - 69 bucks and look like they`ll be ideal for half a dozen pads or microfibers at a time. They`d save water, electricity, time and effort by the look of them. They`d be a winner for towels alone.

Google or Froogle `Wonder Washer` to see the product, it`s really slick, and you people in the USA often get great shipping rates.

I use DP pad rejuvenator and it works great but yesterday..... I polished my moms car using a white pad. It made my white pad dirty and I tried to scrub and clean a little longer, but the dirt spots are abosorbed underneathe the pad. Is there a way I can get this out?

Well I placed an order and forgot to buy some pad cleaner. Is it o.k. to use some dish detergent for one or 2 times to clean them. Dish detergent and cold water? Thx.

I use Dawn to clean my pads all the time. No problems here.
