Can`t wait to try it out, Topoftheline got it to me in time to use it for my spring cleanup of the Subaru this weekend. Showed up a little swirled though, may have to break out the metal polish before I get to use it :o I`m a little excited, and I knew you guys would appreciate my purchase, even if no one in my neighborhood understands!

erm.. This site has been a bad influence on me. :chuckle: In the past year or so, I`ve collected a goofy stupid number of supplies. Now I`ve got to clear a space on the shelf between the PC and the Hitachi...

:woot2:

I`m way excited to use my Cyclo this weekend, fortunately my Subaru doesn`t need to much work. Probably just a clay and I`m thinking Menzerna FPII on cyclos green pads. Any tips from you experienced cyclo users out there? Oddities that I should watch for or be aware of?

If the finish is in pretty good shape the blue pads will probably leave a slightly nicer finish since they have a smaller PPI. Maybe some cyclo users can chime in but to me since the pad is smaller the pore size becomes larger in relationship to the pad. A 60PPI pad would seem less aggressive in a 6.5 inch pad than a 4 inch pad. Maybe I`m wrong and overthing things.

I`ve always had pretty good luck with the green pad (I usually use 4 inchers on my PC) on my paint, but the cyclo does seem a bit more aggressive. I`ll try both out and see which cleans it up better, thanks for the heads up.

With my luck, $20 bucks for the lot... :chuckle: Not that`d I`d ever sell it, I may give away a few tins though.

You need to get the EDGE system for the Cyclo. So smooth. Scottwax will vouch for them as well. You can`t even tell that the machine is on. They are that balanced.

I`ve thought about it, but I already have so many 4" pads that it would just be a colossal waste to move to a different system. I`ll look at it closely though when these pads start to wear out.

Heh... I`ve never been accused of being all that stable :grinno:

One of these days I`ll have to put together a few pics of all my stuff... Its a little on the embarrassing side though, that pic is mostly just paste waxes :) The collection has expanded since then...
