Any recommendations for good polishing towels? Dual nap is preferred but not a most. The Autopia Sonus green towels are on sale for $6.50 for two... Thanks!

Yes, that green Sonus towel has some bite to it, not a bad price (the sale price), either. You could also try the Edgeless towel from Microfibertech, but you can only buy those in 12-packs now, or the edgeless from Excel Detail.

Personally I like Walmart`s 100% terry cloth towels, 12 pack for $5. Feel nice and soft to me. Terry cloth will have that extra bite you`re looking for vs. a Microfiber towel.

I haven`t tried the Sonus polishing MF`s, but the orange Sonus Der Wunder Buffing Towel (http://www.autopia-carcare.com/son-dwbt-2.html) is a dual nap towel like you`re looking for and it looks like the other premium MF`s I`ve picked up recently so I`m sure it`s a great towel.

Here are some of the polishing (dual nap) MF`s I`ve recently tried that are all very high quality (in no particular order):

Danase`s Ultra Plush Microfiber Towel (http://www.danase.com/dadeulplmito.html)

Excel Elite Polishing Towel (http://www.prestostore.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?ref=exceldetail&ct=29279&pd=95550&recview=11)

PakShak MICROPAK Ultra-Plush Micro Fiber Towel (http://www.pakshak.com/ultra-plush-micro-fiber-towel-16x16-1.html)

Poorboy`s Deluxe Mega Towel (DMT) (http://www.poorboysworld.com/microfiber.htm)

Elite Ultra-Plush (http://www.chemicalguys.com/product_p/mic_501_12.htm). This is a pretty good price for 12 towels, but I get much faster shipping from the other guys.

In my opinion the above are all very good MF`s. I would give a slight edge to the Sonus, PakShak, and Poorboy`s just because I like the satin binding a little better. In a blind feel test of just the MF I`d be hard pressed to tell the difference from any of the above towels.

Thanks for the info. A lot of those seem to be a little to plush with no bite... I was removing Klasse SG and it was a PITA with plusher towels.

BTW the monster fluffy was awesome for LSP and final buffing!

Indeed! They do bite well. I also bought a (4) packages of 8 microfibers/package for $4.67/package from WalMart. Both of these towels are very cost-effective.

I was removing Klasse SG and it was a PITA with plusher towels. They all have a short side and a plusher side which works well for me, but I haven`t used SG in ages. You might want to try a CBT or DFT, they seem to work well and the newer style has more bite. I should have had those in my list, since they are a natural fiber terry style towel.

Yeah, there is nothing quite like the Monster. I`m tempted to try a couple of the new giant size Monsters.
